Blue Door

This project was intended to be painted in acrylics, but the oil pastels were sitting right there tempting me. I picked one up and this turned quickly into a furious experiment of tools, textures, and limitations. This is my first oil pastel painting. The raised texture of the leaves and blooms is my favorite part.
