Broken Record

Days that I don't make art feel a broken record. Something is wrong, stuck, and repetitive about the days between the creative outbreaks. This day was a creative outbreak! I took an old poster that had experimental black marks made with non-traditional mark making tools and furiously added color, pattern, glitter, ribbon, gold foil, and anything that would bring life and joy to the artwork and myself simultaneously. I wrote the word alive on this piece without much thought just because I felt that way while making it.
